The new year of 2024 calls us to begin anew. The old is gone, and the new is here. So, how do we consciously embark on the next twelve months? The Enneagram of Soul gives us a perfect map with which to approach the new year:

Soul Energy Nine is Sacred Loving Peace. Resolve to promote peace, not at all costs, but the peace that results from enacting our most developed understanding of love.

Soul Energy One is Sacred Righteousness. We begin this year by discerning the right choices by being aligned with the Divine.

Soul Energy Two is Sacred Compassionate Benevolence. Our gifts are freely offered with a deep understanding of the needs they will fulfill.

Soul Energy Three is Sacred Action. We are committed to begin 2024 with the goal of making spiritual progress. So, we move forward to make things happen for our spiritual progress and the spiritual progress of all concerned.

Soul Energy Four is Sacred Creativity. We look at this new year creatively. It will not be a year of simply going through the motions. It will be a year of intentionally adapting and creating new thoughts and systems and bringing more of the beautiful into the world.

Soul Energy Five is Sacred Wisdom. At the beginning of this year, we are set to be transparent to the divine and all the information the Divine wants to reveal to us in the present moment. Instead of being bogged down in information, we transcend the ego mind and embrace the mind of the soul.

Soul Energy Six is Sacred Kinship. We face the challenges of this next year with kindred spirits. These are the communities to whom we cling and who embrace us. These are our companions who will not let us slip through the cracks.

Soul Energy Seven is Sacred Joy. Regardless of the circumstances this year. Our deep joy will not be forgotten. We have hearts of pure love that, even through the hardest times, know that we are not alone. This joy is far more profound than transient happiness.

Soul Energy Eight is Sacred Power. We understand that all beginnings require energy, and that energy is power. At the start of 2024, we pray for power. The challenges are formidable, but the Holy Power afforded us is the most potent power because it springs from the power of love.

Dear God,

I pray for the beginning of this new year and for the grace to find and follow the pathways of my map. Please give me the highest love that I can put into action at this stage of my growth. Amen
