Deepening Roots
The Institute’s support for its students continues beyond graduation from the Master’s Program.
Growing in consciousness is transformative work with universal import. It is work requiring the efforts and commitment of all of us who have been deeply touched by the powerful wisdom of the Enneagram. Therefore, after the completion of the Masters program, students may continue in the Post-Masters level for advanced study and opportunities for service within the ICB community. Advanced study is both instructional, focusing on more intensive study of the Enneagram, as well as experiential through teaching spiritual concepts to deepen one’s own spiritual practice. More time is given for one-on-one instruction to address self-directed inquiry and study.
Having reached a level of proficiency in the wisdom of the Enneagram and consciousness studies, Post-Masters students are encouraged to offer presentations at Scholars and Masters Intensives which focus on the practical application of the Enneagram within the life and professional work of the student. The graduate students, then, become an integral part of the learning process for all ICB students by teaching and sharing from their own life experiences which gives a deeper insight into the transformative work of the Enneagram.
The Deepening Roots Program has its own faculty, and the students gather during the same weekend as the Scholar’s and Master’s Program at Camp McDowell.
