Resilience

We receive and give Divine energy, resources, presence and wisdom. We absorb these gifts and freely let them flow through us to others. We do not withhold ourselves or our soul from others.

When soul energy flows through us, we feel more alive because, like lightning rods, we conduct a Divine current. This current is made up of various aspects of the most potent soul quality of all: Love. Love outweighs all other energies. It heals hatred, inferiority, vengeance, conflict and inner turmoil. So when we speak and act from our souls, we transact powerful soul qualities from the mother of all soul qualities: Love.

Love, flowing through our hearts, minds and bodies, protects us from the domination of our lower emotions. It is like a running stream. No matter how much hot water you pour into the spring, its flow cools the hot water poured into it. The hot water can be compared to the lower aspects of ourselves; they are associated with the passions. But the higher aspects of our soul transform the passions.

It is a challenge to make the conscious choice to love instead of seeking vengeance. Sinking into despair, envy or fear, etc., can be very difficult. Allowing love and all of love’s “children” to flow through us daily is a conscious process that requires daily spiritual practice. Resilient people rely on this quality, so it’s second nature to them. The constant flow of love flowing through them shields them from our lower aspects.
