Yourself, as a Book About God

What would be the title of the book about your soul? The book would be about your innermost being and would not have to be read by anyone except you … and God. This manuscript would tell of the most rudimentary spiritual bones of your existence. It would describe the beauty of all your spiritual qualities … those known to you and those you have yet to discover.

The one-of-a-kind book about you would trace your soul's progression thus far. Therefore, it would tell the story of how you handled many of your challenges and the wisdom your soul absorbed from them. It would be a story of your soul's private thoughts and how you dealt with them. It would recount the nights when your soul seemed buried under its indomitable struggles.

The book would take us from childhood when you had no developed ego, passions, traps or avoidances. It would describe in words and pictures your soul child. It would have several chapters on your essence. Every divine quality placed in you at your making is fully explained; then, the book would describe the times in your life when the qualities of your essence were expressed. And they will come to mind and fill your heart with the goodness of your being.

Your ego and Inner Critic would not ghostwrite a single word on these pages. They are not qualified to tell the story of your soul. They try to control us and think they are us, but only the soul knows our innermost and essential self. The soul's sincere desires emerge as we become more conscious of our intrinsic connection to them. The soul receives affirmation and inspiration from the Divine in every present moment. You are a work of art.

The book about your soul would combine your soul's entire life and how you have unfolded and transformed until now. I believe your heart would overflow with gratitude when you read about who you really are and how you miraculously became who you are now.
